It is possible to run ipa-dns-install on an unconfigured server. You'll get asked a slew of questions and the install will eventually fail with an LDAP error. It should detect that IPA is not installed and quit before anything is asked.
I bet we have similar issues in other ipa commands.
Should we have a generic check and include it into all independent utilities at the beginning of the execution sequence?
