#1132 Support ethers map in IPA
Closed: Fixed None Opened 13 years ago by dpal.

Add an attribute to host entry, expose via compat plugin.

ieee802device cannot be added to the default list of objectclasses otherwise existing hosts will not be found by host-find so this will be added in pre_callback() in host-add and host-mod.

I found that nslcd only returns a single value for macaddress regardless of the number in the attribute.

So we will provide an improved functionality over nslcd?

Assuming the nis map Nalin is planning to do handles multivalues, yes.

Nalin seemed to believe this nslcd issue was a limitation in glibc.
