New Feature [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/SystemConfigurationShell System Configuration Shell] was proposed for the 2012-01-16 meeting vote:

Annoucement was posted to devel-announce list on 2012-01-08, waiting for approval.

I will not be the implementer of this feature (though I worked out an example, see attachement), but focus on the language/API design, documentation and testing.

Please follow the [http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/Policy/Process Feature Process] - as before announcement and filling the ticket to FESCo, Feature has to be reviewed by Feature Wrangle (and thus it's in category ReadyForWrangler). After the sanity check is done (and potential issues are fixed), the Feature is announced by Feature Wrangler and reported to FESCo for the approval.

I'm not going to close this ticket as it can be reused.

Thanks for clarifying. I think I missunderstod an e-mail I have seen about how to propose a feature.

Reusing this ticket.

For the 2013-02-13 meeting as Feature was announced on devel-announce list on 2013-01-31.

http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2013-January/177847.html

On the list was proposed discussion with OpenLMI project. No other comments -> en bloc.

I was honestly waiting to hear what their response to the OpenLMI questions was. While we could have multiple configuration shells in the system, I'd really rather not have that.

Defer 1 week, asking 1) the people who will implement this to add themselves as co-owners, 2) to explicitly answer relationship to OpenLMI (even if it is "separate and distinct"), and auto-close on no response. (+7,-0,0)

No response as of now, that I've seen, so can assume -1 from me even if I don't make the meeting.

I agree with notting, -1

I wanted to drop it last week, so -1.

Closing based on the decision from February 13. The feature is not approved.
