Not adding to meeting agenda, until the Desktop team has signed-off on this feature.
So far, I can't find anyone on the desktop team that is in favor of this feature:
hadess -1 hughsie -1 mcepl -1
I still haven't got an opinion on this from mclasen, walters, and halfline.
This was disapproved at the 2009-03-06 FESCo meeting.
