Regarding of BZ #781743 pdftk can not build agains the iText library, which will been provided on F-17. Additionally I was unable to provied pdftk to EL-6 because there is no maven infrastructure on EL-6. So I want to ask for an exception to use the iText library bundled with pdftk for F-17 and EL-6.

Does FESCo need to do anything about this right now?
No, please file a ticket in the fedora package comittee. They will ask you for info and approve or deny your request. ;)
