Praveen has been a member of the Dell Server Linux Engineering team for over 2 years, working on Linux issues primarily targeting RHEL, while contributing to Fedora.
Praveen currently maintains 8 packages, including biosdevname, firmware-extract and parts of the SBLIM / openwsman stack. He is well versed in packaging guidelines, and often provides guidance to other Dell engineer package owners.

Matt Domsch has acted as sponsor to Dell employees wishing to become packagers. Matt has trained Praveen to fill this role going forward. Praveen will be mentoring at least 7 people who Matt currently sponsors, and should be promoted to sponsor so he may directly sponsor and mentor future Dell employees himself.
