= Proposal topic =
Thomasvs has been non-responsive for a while, and thus I'm proposing to use the fast track procedure to orphan his packages.
= Overview =
The first attempt was made in April: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.redhat.fedora.devel/131415 Thomas responded, and we started slowly working on updating twisted: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=572372 I have however never heard from Thomas after 24th May, and it seems that his last bugzilla entries also date back to that day. I have prepared updated twisted packages: http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/belegdol/twisted and all downstream maintainers' responses were positive (in the bug linked above). I think the fast track procedure should be used due to long period of lack of response.
= Problem space =
Thomas' non-responsiveness and as a result very outdated python-twisted stack.
= Solution Overview =
Orphan packages allowing other maintainers to take over.
= Active Ingredients =
thomasvs and his packages.
= Owners =
belegdol
Thomas has responded now, sorry I needed to pull out the big guns.
No problem.
I mailed him as well when this was filed... I'll go ahead and close this now? If you could get him to set you as co-maintainer while he is away that would be great.
