I would like to be a sponsor for new packagers.

= Overview =

I have been a provenpackager for about a year. I believe that I have acquired sufficient knowledge to act as a sponsor. Even in my daytime job, one of my duties is to package RPMs for CentOS and Solaris, and to train other packagers. That makes me a professional packager.

= Problem space =

Audio Creation SIG wants to grow. Afaik we have only 2 active contributors (who are doing packaging. We also have a good number of testers in PlanetCCRMA), and many potential ones but no sponsors in our SIG.

Currently I maintain about 100 packages and some of which are hardcore pro audio software. I have enough packaging burden that I don't have much space to expand. But there is so much more pro audio software to package. Thus I believe that having a sponsor in our SIG will attract more contributors, especially from PlanetCCRMA.
