I maintain around 40 packages, many for parts of the GNOME desktop, and a variety of others. Although I am a member of the gnome-sig group, there are still situations where provenpackager status would be useful to help bump a dependent package, or to fix a bug that I come across as part of wider packaging efforts (and of course, soname bumps). Today, for example, I had to ask Kalev to bump bubblewrap because the maintainer was not around and I needed it for a new flatpak release.
