The packager "patches" (T.C. Hollingsworth) has not responded for over a year to any queries. We haven't initiated the non-responsive maintainer process because we have had the group::nodejs-sig set up as a comaintainer for all of his packages, but in the interest of having the paperwork match reality, the Node.js SIG would like to have all [https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/packager/patches/ nodejs* packages owned by "patches"] set to group::nodejs-sig instead.
Does this need any action/approval by FESCo? It seems like it's just recordkeeping and we can do it anytime?
+1 to add group::nodejs-sig to his nodejs packages.
I fully support, what Stephen proposed.
+1
I put it to FESCo because it's ''basically'' the same thing as the non-responsive maintainer process, but not exactly.
I should also point out that patches is a member of the group that we're requesting take ownership, so if he does reappear in the future, he will retain access. (Which is the part where it's a little different from the usual non-responsive process).

Well, it's pretty much exactly the same. ;) For non responsive maintainers we simply change the point of contact to 'orphan' so anyone can take that. We don't remove the non responsive maintainer from approveacls/commit/watch either, so if they come back they can contribute to the package again.
Anyhow, I'm +1 to the request.
Putting this on the agenda for the FESCo meeting tomorrow, Friday at 16:00UTC in #fedora-meeting
Done.
