#1554 python-llfuse package takeover
Closed None Opened 8 years ago by dfateyev.

There are several issues related to "python-llfuse" package, including missing updates for about 6 months. And there are no attempts fixing them from the current maintainer Marcel Wysocki (FAS login: maci). According the policy, I initiated nonresponsive maintainer procedure [https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1304786 in RHBZ].

I tried to contact the maintainer before initiating it via ticket (e.g. [https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1303306 here]), and several times by e-mail.
The only [https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1304786#c2 input] I got 3 weeks ago, and there are no actions so far. A week ago, after two failed contact attempts in RHBZ [https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/4LR4EZQVRUNGBJLUCFWLRTAOGLHFW73D/ I wrote to devel list] CC'ing him, and one more time by e-mail asking him to answer, but never got any response.

I'm asking to reassign "python-llfuse" package to me, so I can fix the issues related.

Seems pretty straightforward to me. Thank you for following the policy fully.

+1

I'm +1 to orphaning all their packages if they don't respond by next fesco meeting.

We have a majority vote of support. I don't think this really needs to be discussed at the meeting.

I've orphaned the maintainers packages for anyone to pick up.

Thanks for the quick actions. Just taken over the package requested.
