= phenomenon = Fedora Workstation image do not include the Gnome Tweak Tool, looks like many user would like to have this tool by default. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1220007
Gnome Developers do not show interest in working for add the GGT features in the Gnome Control Center: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=749172
OpenSuse folks include the GTT by default pathing the Gnome-Control-Center to add the tool in the main menu: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=930333
= background analysis = Gnome Control Center do not provide access to many options than power users of the Gnome Desktop find really usefull.
= implementation recommendation = 1- Add the Gnome Tweak Tool as part of the default set of packages in the Workstation, maybe in the F23 cicle.
2- Patch the Gnome Control Center to access the GTT could be nice.
3- Add some of the gnome-tweak-tool features to the gnome-control-center could be nice too. This sound like a good GSC project.
This is up to the Workstation Working Group to decide. Please send your request to desktop@lists.fedoraproject.org so that they may consider it.
No need, I already posted https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/desktop/2015-May/012113.html to open the discussion.
