#1431 Meet Your FESCo at Flock
Closed None Opened 9 years ago by jwboyer.

I registered the traditional Meet Your FESCo talk for Flock 2015:

https://register.flocktofedora.org/proposals#49

We can use this ticket to track who is going to be present and what we want to cover. Mostly this is just an FYI to coordinate things.

Sadly I won't be at Flock this time.

It is worth noting that a new FESCo will be seated before Flock. We should revisit this ticket after the elections to ensure a majority of the new FESCo can attend.

I should be present at Flock 2015

Unfortunately though my talk is selected but as I have not got any budget from my manager I am going to miss Flock 2015. Hope other members will join Flock 2015 and will have a good time and discussions there.

Flock has come and gone

Indeed it has. As somewhat of a postmortem, how did the attending FESCo members think this session went?

Personally, I felt it's light attendance and relatively small number of questions lent to a calm but mostly bland session. It was great working out some of the Changes issues with Jan, so it had value but aside from that it was fairly boring. I say that as the proposer and emcee of the session. Perhaps we should change the format a bit next time.

It might be nice if we could encourage more early Change Proposals. Maybe we could turn this session into a lightning talk for pitching Changes?

I wonder if this was in part because we had a Council joint session as well. Before, the FESCo sessions were the only choice for Fedora leadership panel sessions.
