#57 mailmain does not use https for some mailinglists
Closed: Fixed None Opened 16 years ago by till.

On https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo the urls to some mailinglists are not https but http links, e.g. http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-announce

I guess that for all these lists, the urls in confirmation e-mails also point to the http and not the https url.

I already opened a ticket about this in the old ticket system, but it seems to be down now and the ticket got not copied here. If you cannot or do not want to interfer with the mailinglist owners, I will send an e-mail to the individual mailing list owners, so please reply, whether or not this is neccessary.

This appears to be a bug in mailman (report from red hat) It should be corrected when they upgrade though I'm not sure when that will be.

Taking this ticket, I will try to push forward the upgrade.

This should be fixed, as well as the problem with git patches to external instances.

It is not fixed, {{{curl --silent -k https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo | grep http://www.redhat.com/mailman}}} still shows 19 mailing lists without the https url and fedora-package-announce is still one of them.

Hey, is there any update on this? The weird issue still seems to be happening :-/

Oh, I thought it is fixed! I've missed the last mail :( I'll investigate even that this is very strange as the output is generated and should be consistent for each entry.

this has been resolved as far as i can tell
