In a new incognito web browser (so there is no preexisting session), I browse to https://ask.fedoraproject.org/ , click "Hi there! Please sign in", and click the fedora button. The next page asks me for my Fedora Account System (FAS) credentials, which I have and which I enter.
After I click log in, the next page says "User registration", and asks me for a Screen Name and an Email Address. I enter those and click Signup, and I get these errors:

The screen name and email address I entered are the ones associated with my FAS account. I don't know what to do at this point. I hope this is the right place to raise this bug. I am unable to ask about it in Ask Fedora, as I can't sign in.

Your account was tied to a Google account, and not your Fedora user. I just attached your Fedora user to the Askbot user to your Fedora user, so if you login to Askbot with your Fedora user now, you should be set.
Thank you. Now after I click the fedora button and log in, I am brought to the home page with a valid session. I am all set.
