#5094 Abuse: fedora user 'lissacoffey' is injecting spam into wiki pages
Closed: Fixed None Opened 8 years ago by jskarvad.

= bug description =
Hi, I have found that Fedora user 'lissacoffey' injected spam into our project wiki (Tuned project: https://fedorahosted.org/tuned/wiki/WikiStart?version=34).

It would be great if fedorahosted wikis could be set-up to send change notification e-mails. It is not the first time this happened and it's hard for me to periodically diffs the wiki pages. Or is there better way how to protect the wiki?

They are disabled now.

You can get a rss feed:

https://fedorahosted.org/tuned/timeline?ticket=on&changeset=on&milestone=on&wiki=on&max=50&authors=&daysback=90&format=rss

We could also enable fedmsg so changes emit a fedmsg which you could configure FMN to notify you on.

You could also I think change permissions on the wiki to need more than AUTHENTICATED_USER, but something like TRAC_ADMIN.

Let us know if we can help with any of those.

Thanks for the tips, I tighten the wiki permissions.

I think fedmsg messages will be also useful to me. If you could add them easily to the bus, please add them, thanks.

ok, the trac fedmsg plugin should be enabled now, so it should emit fedmsgs on trac changes. :)

Please let us know if you need anything further.
