#5086 Remove swag trac ticket
Closed: Fixed None Opened 8 years ago by gitne.

= Phenomenon =
The swag ticket https://fedorahosted.org/emea-swag-tracking/ticket/526 contains personal data. The ticket's lifetime has ended. It should be removed.

= Reason =
Tickets with personal data should not linger in semi-public ticket systems for every registered user to read.

= Recommendation =
Remove the ticket asap.

Another option might be to enable users to create ''private'' or ''admin only'' tickets (similar to sensitive tickets on fedora infrastructure trac) where read/write access is limited to a number of users specified in the ticket.

Removing tickets (aside from spam or legal reasons) is a very bad idea. It means there is no more record of what happened.

I'm adding the admins of that trac here for comment, but there could be a better place for the discussion (ambassadors list?)

If they want to use the sensitive tickets plugin, any of them can enable it and use it there and I am happy to help set it up.

Since there's actually nothing to do here for infrastructure, I am closing this.

thanks kevin for the heads up - i also think this needs to be discussed at other places first.

If it comes to learn about who received which ressources, and further ressource-tracking, i do not know a solution to delete tickets without having trouble with transparency ... maybe gitne should discuss it at famsco level

I see no reason to remove the ticket. AFAIK we've never removed one.
