#4744 implement account recovery

It doesn't seem possible to recover account if your account was associated with only one provider and it suddenly stops working.

I think that system should allow user to create a new account with the same email address as the previous one and after email confirmation have the accounts merged. i.e. some system to allow you recover old account with new auth method given both email addresses match and user can confirm the email.

At the moment to use ask fedora I have to do two things - create new account and create a new email account as I cannot register with my previous email account.


Given implementation details of askbot, this is not a good idea.

If you have this issue, I can update your account though.
Can you tell me your old authentication provider and your Fedora username?
