= problem = When I go into the Admin page of my project, there is a doxygen plugin:
https://fedorahosted.org/nunc-stans/admin/tracini/doxygen
but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to configure it.
= analysis =
Need more instructions. Or, is this something where I need access to the file system to put files in the right places?
= enhancement recommendation =
Provide detailed instructions.
Sorry this has langushed. ;)
So, we installed the doxygen trac plugin a while back by request. I have not personally used it, so it will be a learning experence for all.
https://trac-hacks.org/wiki/DoxygenPlugin
An example site:
https://developer.pidgin.im/doxygen/
I guess you need to enable the plugin, you will get a doxygen tab to configure and link your docs into using doxygen:// links?
The plugin is enabled. I see it listed under Plugins as enabled. I have this link: https://fedorahosted.org/nunc-stans/admin/tracini/doxygen
The problem is, I have no idea what to put in these fields. For example: {{{ path /var/lib/trac/doxygen Directory containing doxygen generated files. }}} Does that mean I have to upload files to this directory? If so, how so? Is there some other directory that I can upload files to?
Yeah, that could make this not very useful. You can only upload to the /releases/ area or your git repo. :(
We had in mind to setup a way for people to upload docs to another set of directories, but we never got very far implementing it, and at this point we are spending more energy working on pargure.io.
So, we could revisit that and try and setup a way to upload docs to another set of directories, or if you want to be an early adopter perhaps pagure.io would meet your needs better (it has a git repo for docs).
Hmm - pagure.io - interesting - how hard would it be to move fedorahosted.org/nunc-stans to pagure.io? Or probably mirror, at least for the present.
We don't have any sync/mirroring setup currently, but you should be able to login to pagure.io and make the project and push whatever you like to it to test out. ;)
We do have a few projects that are pushing changes to both fedorahosted and pagure while they evaluate.

How would I move fedorahosted.org/nunc-stans trac tickets to pagure?
Just login to pagure.io, create the project there, then use git to push the repo(s) over to pagure.io.
That would take care of the git part.
We don't have any automated tool to pull ticket or wiki info (yet), but you could scrape them I guess and push them to the pagure docs / issues repos? (in pagure each of those are git repos)
So, should we try and get doxygen working here? Or just close this and try and get pagure working for your needs?
Replying to [comment:9 kevin]:
AFAIK, pagure does not support html, only rst/md? So in order to use pagure, I need to figure out some way to doxygen -> ??? -> rst/md since doxygen doesn't support rst/md. I've tried to use pandoc here: doxygen -> html -> pandoc -> rst but it does not look very good.
I think the best thing is to just close this bug. I've already got the docs hosted at rmeggins.fedorapeople.org which is the best solution so far.
Ah, not sure on the rst. Feel free to ping pingou about that and see if you can work out something on pagure.
Sorry we couldn't get things working on fedorahosted.
Thanks for your patience.
