The Cloud SIG is looking forward replacing cloud-init by min-metadata-service, within F22 timeframe. https://github.com/cgwalters/min-metadata-service Since it's still quite minimalist, we need to add missing features from cloud-init becore considering it as a suitable replacement. In order to do that, we need accounts to various IaaS providers for development purposes. It will be used only to spawn short-lived instances.
= recommendation =
Depending what's available within Fedora Infrastructure, we'd like to have access to an EC2-compatible service (Eucalyptus?), OpenStack.
I forget to add the cloud SIG ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/cloud/ticket/23#comment:7
We have currently an openstack folsom instance.
I'm happy to set you up an account to work on this, but I'd really prefer not to make a generic SIG account where I am not sure who is accountable.
Can you mail me your gpg key? I need it to send you the encrypted login information... thanks.
