Fedora 17 changed to EOL (https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/announce/2013-July/003169.html), the product description has to be updated to reflect supported releases.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?classification=Fedora
= Requested description = Bugs related to the components of the Fedora distribution. If you are reporting a bug against a stable release or a branched pre-release version please select that version number. The currently maintained released versions are: Fedora 18 and Fedora 19. If you have a bug to report against the daily development tree (rawhide) please choose 'rawhide' as the version.
Please disable F17 for new bugs too.
Thanks.
But isn't this "I also added Fedora 20 to the description since it will be branched in just a few weeks. I did not add a new version for the Fedora product for Fedora 20 yet." confusing? I'd prefer it without F20 for now.
Btw. between branching and release day we traditionally used: "Bugs related to the components of the Fedora distribution. If you are reporting a bug against a stable release or a branched pre-release version please select that version number. The currently maintained released versions are: Fedora 18, Fedora 19. The branched pre-released version is Fedora 20. If you have a bug to report against the daily development tree (rawhide) please choose 'rawhide' as the version."
I'm ok with getting rid of it but still I prefer actually having the version in BZ that's written in description.
ok, I changed it to your wording.
Please let us know if it needs any more adjustments.
Thanks, we're post branch so it's not correct ;-). Reusing/reopening this ticket to finish post-branch actions - version 20 has to be added to Bugzilla now.
"The version 20 of product Fedora has been created."
