#3795 Please create a calendar for the upcoming Fedora 20 elections on fedocal

= phenomenon =
Fedora 20 elections are coming up really soon. Since fedocal is up, I think it'll be absolutely great to have the elections schedule up on it. It'll make it really easy for the community to follow the various steps and and actions that they must take.

= implementation recommendation =
I've generated a few ics calendars here that can be imported straight away.

For the community:

For nominees:

http://ankursinha.fedorapeople.org/20130427_Fedora_20_elections/Fedora%2020%20elections%20-%20Board%20nominee%20tasks.ics

There is another calendar too, but it includes the work that needs to be done behind the scenes, and I don't think it needs to be added.

More information here:

There are a few dates that will need to be added later though, for example the town hall schedules, which we won't know until much later in the elections cycle. Will it be possible to tweak the calendars, or just make them subscribe to the ICS calendars and periodically check for updates?

Once the calendars are up, I'll double check their correctness. They should match the main schedule here:
http://ankursinha.fedorapeople.org/20130427_Fedora_20_elections/Fedora%2020%20elections%20plan.html

PS: I can't see a "fedocal" component on the trac at the moment. Using "General".

Thanks a bunch!
Warm regards,
Ankur

Note that fedocal does not support creating meeting from an ICS file (yet), so you will have to re-create the meeting by hand. Is this still fine for you?

There is also no sub-calendar support atm (it is planned) so the calendar for nominees and community would either be merged into one or split into two different calendar.

Hi,

We're going to announce the elections any time now (Naming begins on 14th, which is just a few days away). Could you please add a calendar and make Robyn, Jaroslav and me (I'm the election wrangler again this term) the admins? I can populate the calendar myself. That'll save you folks some time and effort :)

Thanks,
Ankur

You can't do per username managers, only groups.

Would the 'elections' group be ok?
