= problem = Currently trac in fedorahosted uses mod_auth_pgsql to auth users DIRECTLY to the fas db. It would be good if this could stop so we could stop having that hole punched and make our hosted boxes more generic.

There is this plugin for trac: https://github.com/dairiki/authopenid-plugin
that claims to allow openid auth to trac. If this can be setup to ONLY allow the fedora openid as the auth and it works reliably then perhaps we can use it in lieu of mod_auth_pgsql and free up our infrastructure from having special firewall holes punched.
This has been tested out, worked, packaged up, and soon to be deployed. ;)
