#3233 Katello repos fedorahosted quota exceeded
Closed: Fixed None Opened 12 years ago by lzap.

Hello,

we are starting syncing Candlepin and Pulp subproject repositories for our Katello project as we need to keep our own versions of packages we integrate with.

Unfortunately we hit quota limit today's night.

rsync: write failed on "/srv/repos/katello/candlepin/6Server/x86_64/candlepin-deps-0.0.24-1.el6.noarch.rpm": Disk quota exceeded (122)

We'd need to extend our quota with at least 200 MBs of space as we are planning to put Foreman project into the loop soon.

Thank you.

I just upped mmccune's quota by 1GB. If you need it upped in the future, please let us know that it is mmccune's quota, not yours.

{{{
[nb@people03 candlepin]$ sudo quota mmccune
Disk quotas for user mmccune (uid 102428):
Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace
/dev/mapper/GuestVolGroup00-srv00
1991576 3000000 3000000 4492 0 0
}}}

Please let us know if you need anything further.

Hello,

thanks for upping Mike's quota, unfortunately our codebase is growing and we just started including candlepin and pulp repositories in our repos to improve stability.

Can you please add more quota to mmccune? The use is currently about:

1.4G /srv/repos/katello/

We would need another 500 MB I guess. Thank you.

Please check if mmccune quota exceeded limits. I am not sure looking again on the rsync error. Maybe his certificate got expired. If quota is okay, please just close this request.

really we should move this repo over to the projects dir on fedorapeople.org and just redirect/symlink the location.

Can you give me more information about what that would mean for us? Like generating new keys or joining some newly created group in FAS? Thanks.

Our projects volume is also on fedorapeople.org, but it's unquotaed (and un backed up).

We could setup a directory there to have permissions for you and/or a group of folks, then you don't need to worry about quotas.

We are interested, project "katello", users with rw access would be "lzap" and "mmccune". We would like to have symlink from the current directory. Also we would like to have special account for our hudson builder, but this is optional. Thanks!

I do not think the hudson builder account is going to happen. I don't think we have a precedent for non-user accounts and I'm positive I don't want to set that precedent onto fedoraPEOPLE.org.

ok, I have set this up:

on fedorapeople.org under /project/katello/

Both of you should have acls.

It should appear on the net ask:

http://fedorapeople.org/groups/katello/

Let us know if you need anything further. ;)
