= phenomenon = The mail server at redhat.com currently forwards mail sent to the old list addresses (e.g. fedora-list@redhat.com) to the new ones (users@lists.fedoraproject.org).
Unfortunately, when mail is sent to the list at fedora-list@redhat.com, a Reply-To header to fedora-list@redhat.com is added in addition to the one for users@lists.fedoraproject.org. Many list users just assume "Reply" does the right thing, resulting in some users getting two copies of replies. Additionally, someone decides to complain about this once a month, flooding my inbox with even more useless mail. ;-)
= recommendation = Kill off list forwarding from @redhat.com. You recently cut off the download.fedora.redhat.com redirect, so this seems like it's part of a natural progression.
Alternatively, find a way to remove the Reply-To entry to fedora-list@redhat.com within Mailman.
Yeah, it's been over 2 years, we should shut down those forwards. ;)
Thanks for filing the ticket. I will look at moving forward on this next week.
