Sorry, let's put this on hold for a moment, we're actually close to renaming sync_manager to something else. We'll update this request with a new name shortly.

We have renamed sync_manager to sanlock, so this request has become:
- rename git tree "sanlock.git"
- add mailing list "sanlock-devel"
- add a trac page "sanlock"
- add a git hook that sends new commits to the mailing list

Git repo renamed, git group renamed.

Hosted repo set up. Mailing list created, commit hook added.

You should be set.
