#2068 Fedora Stable release + updates - Nightly builds
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by sundaram.

We do currently nightly builds of all the approved spins. We could extend this to Fedora 12 + updates for Desktop + KDE spins for x86 and x86_64 arch. It will put up with a disclaimer that it might install or break just like any other nightly build. We can do some automated tests for basic sanity and retain the last known good build if future ones break. This will be a big time saver for users looking for saving time and bandwidth getting the updates.

Talked to Nirik and the current script can be modified easily. Just need infrastructure to approve the request first.

I think this should go by rel-eng and qa...

Also, it would increase disk space a good deal in infrastructure, where currently we are pretty low. This may change in a few months... but I'd like to see buy in from rel-eng/qa/fesco before we did anything more.
