I'd remind that a formal mailing list is hard to maintain -- there are too many spams, and you cannot tell which is spam at mailman administration page, because chinese is displayed incorrectly. My experience on moderating fedora-trans-zh_cn is painful. Thus, I'd prefer we stick to google groups[1] for user discussion.

(in fact it is easier to moderate fedora-trans-zh_cn list, I usually just ignore every message and accept those subscribers who have a FAS account and already in l10n-commits group -- thus it must be a fedora contributor. It is very rare that a normal user will send message to that list.)

It is very strange that fedora-trans-zh_cn is not listed on listinfo page [3]. It just becomes to have more activity. To remind everyone on the list to use a different mailing list is fine in my opinion. Nowadays most FOSS translation happen in i18n-zh [4], only a few fedora specific documents (thus contributors) are communicating on fedora-trans-zh_cn.

Besides, afaik bbbush agree to have fedora mailing list on list.fedoraproject.org now. So, could you please create "fedora-zh" please?

Per our guidelines we don't want to have 'fedora' in list names, since the lists are all at 'lists.fedoraproject.org'.

This would be a list for the community? Perhaps 'zh-community' or just 'zh' ?
Or 'chinese-community' ?
