As of F-13, ppc/ppc64 are no longer primary architectures in Fedora. We need to work out a plan for transitioning the existing builders to a secondary arch effort.

= background analysis =

We will need to split the builders among the F-10, F-11, F-12, and secondary arch efforts as F-10 through F-12 still require support for ppc/ppc64. Also, we need to reserve a few builders for EPEL.

= implementation recommendation =

The current suggestion is to do nothing at all, since there is no publicly accessible secondary arch ppc effort.

Once such and effort exists, the recommendation is to transition machines in segments. Likely start with 1/4 of the builders migrating, followed by an additional 1/4 for every release that goes EOL.

We currently have 9 enabled ppc/ppc64 builders, so a simple transition plan would look something like:

3 reserved for EPEL
2 moved to secondary arch effort when accessible
1 moved to secondary arch effort when F-10 goes EOL
1 moved to secondary arch effort when F-11 goes EOL
2 moved to secondary arch effort when F-12 goes EOL
