#1614 Tracking backup install
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by smooge.

Stuff that needed to be added:

63 yum install sysstat
64 yum install zabbix-agent
114 yum install psacct
199 yum install man

zabbix-agent was originally excluded from the backup machines on purpose to keep it extra locked down, by the way.

Well it was on the old system when looking at the RPM-qa I did before and after the install. Removing it would probably be a good idea.. I wonder how it got on before.

I'm not actually sure how we disabled it (and prevented puppet from reenabling it) before. We should probably clean up global.pp to make sure the right stuff is excluded (and mention this all in the puppet SOP).

Hey, I don't remember what this ticket was about - installing backup01? I assume that's done? (Although we should make a note to run puppet every once in a while after making sure the changes are safe - otherwise we never know if it'll come back up on a rebuild).

Can't remember either. Going to close
