Hi Chrissie,
Sorry for the long delay in getting to this request.
We can do a conversion for you. I think we should test it first to ensure it's what you want. I've helped some other upstream projects convert from cvs to svn on sf.net in the (seemingly distant) past.
Take a look at svn+ssh://fedorapeople.org/home/fedora/tmz/www/linux-decnet.svn and let us know how the conversion looks. That's just using the stock options for cvs2svn, so it may or may not be what you'd like in your new svn repository.
Hiya,
Thanks for getting back (I'm not in any rush!). Is it possible to have the two projects 'dnprogs' and 'latd' separated into their own svn repositories but still under the same project? If it isn't, then what you have done there will be fine.
It's not worth separating them out into distinct projects I think, they're far too small for that.
Thanks Chrissie
Chrissie,
Sorry for taking so long to reply, I didn't mean to put your patience to any test. :)
I asked about multiple svn repos per project and the consensus was that it is strongly preferred to have just one repo per project. So I did what I did for converting some CVS repos to Subversion on SF.net: I created toplevel dirs for each CVS module in the SVN repo, with the standard trunk, tags, and branches inside each toplevel.
You can see the results in svn+ssh://fedorapeople.org/home/fedora/tmz/www/linux-decnet.svn. doing a full checkout of that is about 300 MB. (I easily forget how much less efficient cvs and svn are compared to git. ;)
I'll attach the ugly scripts I used to perform the conversion, in case you (or other infra folks) want to peruse them and improve them for other conversions.
Anyway, let me know if that layout and conversion looks good and I'll wrap this up for you ASAP.

Hiya
Thanks, that SVN repository looks fine. I know svn bad with tags but I'll just tell people to check out trunk. The tags are for my benefit really :-)
Thanks,
Chrissie
Sorry, I'm going to close this. It's just not worth the wait and the uncertainty.
I originally thought moving the project here would free me from the unresponsiveness of Soureforge but it seems not.
I don't know why this has taken so long, and I'm sure you're all very busy with Fedora 12 at the moment, but this project is too small a part of my life to mess around with it like this.
Thanks for what you've done anyway,
