Hi ahmed,

The project repo has been setup, you should be able to use the following repo url:

svn+ssh://svn.fedorahosted.org/svn/firekit

The commit group is svnfirekit, and you should be able to browse the trac interface at https://fedorahosted.org/firekit/

The firekit-devel mailing list has been set up, you were set as the project admin and the initial password should be sent to your ahmed@fp.o address.

If there's anything else needed, let us know.

Hi,
Thanks for the great work, everything is working just fine. I have one little problem though, commits to the project are not sending commit notifications to the firekit-devel mailing list, can you kindly fix this as well

Regards

Hi Ahmed,

I added a post-commit hook to the FireKit svn repository so commit notifications should be good now. Let us know if you have any further trouble.

Hi,
Thanks for the help, I tried committing, but it seems there's a server side error. Here's what we got

Sending src
Sending tests
Transmitting file data .
Committed revision 3.

Warning: 'post-commit' hook failed with error output:

That's it? No error output? I'm at work right and won't be able to handle it until later today, if nobody has had time to fix it by then I'll work on it myself :)

I botched the permissions when I setup the the post-commit hook. (I should know better than to mess with svn early in the morning. ;)

Let us know if it works better now Ahmed.

It occurs to me that we might still have problems because /srv/svn is mounted noexec.

(Jorge, I was trying to update the SOP for creating svn commit lists, but I'll first have to find a known good example of an svn repo on hosted that has commit notifications enabled and working.)

I think I fixed things now so that our svn commit mail hooks will work even though we have /srv/svn mounted with the noexec option. (I'll update the SOP to detail how things should work later tonight or tomorrow, Jorge).

Ahmed, can you let us know if the commit messages are sent to the firekit-devel list whenever the next commit to the svn repository is made? Thanks!

Everything is working fine now. Thank you
