This is a bug to track relicensing of a web application to conform to the new licensing guidelines. Since this is a web application, we will be moving from GPLv2 => AGPLv3+.
Note that objections to the relicensing effort should be raised now if there are any so that we can relicense all web applications similarly.
Infrastructure has decided to go with GPLv2+ instead of AGPLv3+. This is official so relicensing can begin. You can look at the python-fedora relicensing https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/ticket/1507 for ideas on steps to take.
Elections has been re-written since this ticket but the licensing remains GPLv2.
Do we still want to change it?
