#1194 Hosting request for dropwatch
Closed: Fixed None Opened 15 years ago by nhorman.

Project name: dropwatch

Project short summary: One of the shortcommings of the Linux networking stack is the disjoint nature of its performance profile, most notably regarding packet drops. Statistics for the network stack are robust and fully available, but require a user to interrogate several files, and use several utilities to obtain a full picture of if and where in the kernel packet drops are occuring. Dropwatch is a utility that attempts to consolidate the detection of packet loss into one program. By using an in-development netlink protocol, dropwatch can efficiently detect and pinpoint the location and cause in the kernel of various packet loss.

Ping? Sorry to trouble you, but I'd like to present on this utility I'm working on in a few days, and having the hosted site up for it would be a big help to me. Not sure what goes into setting up the hosted area, but if it could get done in the next few days, I'd certainly appreciate it. Thanks!

Done.
