I am not seeing any emails being sent after I git-push.

Is there anything I need to set up in .git or simialar ? What's in .git/hooks/* ?

Strange
.git/hooks/post-update always points to /usr/bin/git-update-server-info, which is normal for all git repos on hosted.

I just symlinked the update hook also, can you try this once more please?

Tried it again, and it works now.
