This badge will be given to those contributors who helps in making videos related to Fedora, which are uploaded on the Fedora Videos channel(Vimeo:http://vimeo.com/fedoraproject).

I had attached a design for the badge, any suggestions are most welcomed.

Think than artwork can be some like this:

It is suposed than pink is the color to group and FAS badges and Video is a Special Group.

It is OK @niteshnarayan ? If you are OK I can aprobe the artwort.

That would be great, you can get it reviewed from the design team as well.
Thanks for the help.

Think this badge have a bad concept:

1- http://vimeo.com/fedoraproject appears to have only 4 videos
2- http://www.youtube.com/user/fedoraproject was suposed to be the official vídeo channel but there is a legal issue
3- Video Team is very similar to Desing Team, has his FAS Group (1) and mailing list (2).

This badge can be handled by FAS for those than are in Video Group in the Fedora Account System

2: http://lists.fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/video

Currently there are only seven people sponsored by the Group, to manage the badge from the Fedora Account System can help more people who have edited a video for Fedora request to join the group and subscribe to the mailing list.

Thanks for researching, william.

I'm fine with using the FAS group to award the badge automatically. It will be easier on the badges team long-term.

Nitesh, does that sound okay to you?

To add more and more interested people to the group to help in Videos :).

More the help we can get, the better it would be.
Thanks a bunch :)

I think this was a "Yes lets the FAS award the badge". So this badge it is ready :)
I hope others are encouraged to make videos on Fedora after the badge is posted

Awesome news on getting the badge created guys :) For some reason its not auto awarding to the people in the FAS group though. Is there something that has to be turned on in the group settings?

Just a note, I'll need a .svg of the badge as well as the .png. williamjmorenor, can you provide that?

I love it! I think with a few little tweaks it will be ready :)

The back ground could use some variation, its a little bit dark- either try a gradient or take a look at some backgrounds here: https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-badges/ticket/225

I would change the black on the clapper board to a dark grey, you could use the same dark grey used in this badge: https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-badges/attachment/ticket/15/mirror-fedora-badge.svg

I really like the white stroke on the clapper board, I think you should thicken it up a little bit and possibly round off the corners, similar to the stroke on the package in this badge: https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-badges/attachment/ticket/212/copr-build-300.svg

After consulting the badge guidelines, I think that this badge would fall under the content category which has a blue ring. I would then test out different background colors. You can also find a Badge color palette here: https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-badges/ticket/225

It looks great!

I boosted the white outline and adjusted the size of the Fedora Logo.

I also changed the background to green... This week I have been trying my best(with Mizmos help) to establish a system to organize the badge categories. As of now any 'member' badges will have a pink ring and a green background(e.g. https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/pixel-ninja) :)

Thanks william & riecatnor for this.

Note: I need a .png export with a transparent background at 256x256px of video.2.svg in order to move forwards with this one.

Okay, it is pushed out to the badges site now:

https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/videographer

There is a cronjob that should run later this week and award the badge to people who are current members of the videos group. :)
