At today's meeting (2013-06-22), we discussed the possibility of various countries in APAC maintaining their own event boxes. (since this will be cheaper than sending around 1 event box).
This ticket aims to ascertain what such an event box should contain.

Please comment with what you think should be included in the event box. We'll discuss it over at a meeting and then move on to the next stage: actually creating these boxes
it was really cool idea to have an event box in locally also adding the fedora table cloth is be good though.

Here's what I think:
We need to classify stuff into two categories:
Category 1: Stuff that remains in the event box Banners Table cloths Towels Power spike Rpi etc to show Anything required to set up a booth
Category 2: Stuff that will be given away. This is basically swag that each event organizer will have to get for himself and use at the booth/event Cheat cubes stickers pen drives to give away other media buttons key rings * t shirts
The event box therefore should only contain Category 1 items, always. The rest (swag) should be generated by the event organizer, and they should request reimbursements for these items.
Since some folks intend to come down to LCA, I'll try and have an event box here.
