I strongly support this ticket - Fabian Affolter and i will be at this conference and meet Chokden - it will be a good opportunity to discuss the progress and future activities for the tibetan Community and would spare us a costly trip to Dharamsala - which was sponsored by other entities than Fedora the last time.

We also will join forces with other Fedora Ambassadors from India who will be at the conference in their role with RedHat (Prasad,Rupali?)

We work together since a couple of years and Chokden talked about his activities on the last last fudcon in Pune.

According to APAC Reimbursement guidelines [1], this ticket needs to be approved by a FAmSCo member, CC holder or a person approved by CC holder.

Since there is no APAC person elected in this FAmSCo term (correct me if I am wrong), you need to wait for @izhar (APAC CC holder) to process this.
Otherwise, you need to wait to the next APAC meeting (IIRC, next Friday)

thanks tuanta for the clarification - one remark, you know that i processed the APAC reimbursements for quite a while - if izhar can confirm there is 219$ USD left in the budget i could take care for the reimbursement.

I am really sorry for updating the ticket after a long time, I had series of unfortunate events after the nullcon. I lost my phone which had all my refund bills pictures and I did not know until today that I had a back up in itunes. I had a car accident from hotel to Goa airport which led me to miss my flight and hence the huge margin in the flight price. I request for refund on old bill which i will upload as soon as i get it from the airlines. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience caused @izhar @jsimon .

reimbursed 485,21 USD for 31369 INR - ticket can be closed

I have a lot of complaints for this ticket.
Firstly, as mentioned in APAC process,

$300-1000 USD = The request requires approval from the appropriate regional community (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, or NA)
   At least five (5) individual FAm votes required at APAC FAm Bi-Weekly meeting

I don't see any meeting results for this, neither anyone voting on this ticket.
I also even don't see izhar officially approve the ticket.
I checked the air ticket provided in this request, as well as NullCon website, it shows that it happens in FY2018 instead of FY 2017.

So based on the time, I see Izhar and kushal's comment invalid since they are commenting for FY2017 not for FY2018.
And how come a request get reimbursed without a approved tag?
Are we still following APAC guideline?

I've moved this charge to FY18. The full explanation is in the commit message below. As APAC has spent no money so far this year, I don't believe this will cause a problem. If APAC runs out of money, we can discuss finding a way to fix this.

Moving nullcon txn from FY17 to FY18

This expense was paid with FY18 money

Even though the event occurred in FY17, FY17 closed on 28 Feb 2018

ANY CHARGES occuring after that time are FY18 costs.

In the future, please work with the FCAIC in these situations as
we may be able to get the costs to land in the correct year.
