Please let Izhar book the ticket

== Requirements ==

flight ticket fron CGN to PNH, one way see attachment. I am fine with the nearby option as DUS is just a few kilometers away and reachable with public transport. Price right now is 664$

== Additional information ==

Ticket is like my last one, budgeted for Barcamp, but I will do several other events like FUDCon meetup 3rd September, SFD on 19. September, Barcamp 24./25. October and FOSSOGRAPHY 13.-16. November

I saw this ticket via the barcamp wiki page. I hope this isn't coming from the APAC budget. We haven't had a discussion about it and it seems ridiculous to fly someone from EU for the barcamp. We're not exactly flush with funds in APAC, and accepting this ticket would mean asians don't get the money set aside for them.

+1 to what Amit said. I would also mention that we have enough local ambassadors in that region who can attend the event.

+1.

@Somvannda, as the event organizer (at least, in Fedora team), have you tried to check if any local guys, then regional guys can join?
I know, we planned in APAC budget for your event, but it's best to grant to APAC persons unless no APAC guys are suitable to your needs/missions.

@Gnokii: you are still welcome here, of course. Just try to get funds form other sources (EMEA budget or something else) before reaching to APAC budget. You know, our budget is quite limited this year.

Hi, I getting a little bit upset with this - "''to fly someone from EU for the barcamp''" it looks to me nobody did read the ticket.
It's like the ticket for FAD last year, staying for a longer time and do EACH, I repeat each day an event. The only difference this time is that I will have days off, for some personal things, like go to ministery for getting the visa extended.

@Tuan its not quiet limited this year, its the same as last year and nothing lesser.

I am against in discrimination based on region for providing budget.
1. If we have constraint on budget, simply provide same amount we are providing to other APAC contributors planning to attend said event.
2. If we have sufficient budget to accommodate candidate. There is no question at all.

Recently we had same issue with Flock where organizers said we are not providing any funding for other region attendees (LATAM and APAC). Don't want to see this become tradition for Fedora funding's.

Fair thing is importance of contributors and what impact he can make after attending said event other all things depend upon it. Recently we done same thing by providing funding to fly key Fedora contributors from other regions to FUDCon APAC.

Requested budget of $664 (for one-way flight to PP) has been approved in APAC 2015-08-01 meeting. See: http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting/2015-08-01/fedora-meeting.2015-08-01-04.00.html/

Izhar: How much is final reimbursement?
