== Additional information ==
In contrast to local release party of ubuntu which could always attracts 30 persons or above, release party of fedora only attracts about 15 or less. Ubuntu has settled one office in Taipei, and the staff give away some goodies such as official ubuntu books, name card strips, and drawstring backpacks, etc.

We are considering to make some fedora pins or fedora key chains to promote fedora this time. We will contact some local factories to make those accessories.

Any further information will be updated as soon as possible.

As I discussed with you via email (copied to Harish), firstly, please look for support from some organization like Red Hat Taiwan. They may provide you space and internet for free.

We are waiting the response from Red Hat Taiwan.

About the keychians idea

It will be extremely expensive if we only have them produce 30 pieces. It will be about 65NTD per one, and costs 1950NTD (about 65 USD) for 30 pieces.

After discussion with freedomknight, we decided to cancel the production. We will create a new ticket on trac to make fedora keychains

After some discussions with local community, we are planning to make a general-purpose fedora roll up banner at this time.

After contacted with several vendors, we found that the average price of a 85cm x 200 cm banner is around 1050TWD (34 USD).

There are two-kinds of stands which we can choose from, one is plan-style stand and the other is water-drop-dock-style stand. Plan-style stand is easy to fall down as the bottom is so light and cannot stand in wind-blowing environment. Water-drop-dock-style is stronger and more resistant to bad situations we may encounter in Taiwan. The average price of plan-style stand is around 945 TWD (31 USD) while water-drop-dock-styel stand is around 3300 TWD (106 USD).

The local community would like to have water-drop-dock-style stand to have more longevity and be stronger, but we, the ambassadors, tend to make plan-style stand to save money for fedora project. However, there is one friend who stands out and willing to give us 2000TWD (64 USD) to help upgrade the plan-style to the water-drop-dock-style stand for the community.

The factory with lowest price we found now agreed to give us total 4100 TWD for 85cmx200cm banner and water-drop-dock-style stand which would cost us average 4150 TWD (140 USD) at first.

Minus 2000 TWD from the enthusiastic friend, it will cost us 2100 TWD (68 USD) to make this general-purpose fedora roll up banner.

BTW, we don't get any response from Red Hat Taiwan until today.

Hi,
I think it is really not a good idea to have Fedora release parties in Ubuntu(Canonical) or SUSE(Attachement) office. So will you please try other places?

Yeah, we are going to host it at GozCafe.

However, tuana thinks it is kind of expensive for site-renting-fee and suggest us to cooperate with Red Hat to get free place with wifi and projector.

We tried to contact them but did not receive any response though.

It is kind of close for the date Jan 3, 2015 we set. We don't think it is a good idea to keep waiting for Red Hat Taiwan, because we need to promote the event to public and count the possible number of attendees.

We, the ambassadors in Taiwan, tend to just use the place in GozCafe.

@harish: could you please double check with Red Hat Taiwan team?

Just FYI, I asked someone in Taiwan. He told me a place which is a little cheaper than GozCafe. http://clbc.tw/booknow/ You can see if this fits(I think at least it is cheaper).

It is too late to change the location, after discussion with other ambassadors we decide not to change the location.
we may consider CLBC next time.

We are going to have the release party today, hope it will be full of joy today!

Update: We've check the price of CLBC.
It's NT$2000 (US$62.87) per hour not three hours.
And it would be NT$3000(US$100)/hr for who don't have friendship with CLBC staff.

We had a great Saturdaty for fedora 21! I will post the report as soon as possible.

The total cost of this fedora 21 release party in Taipei is 3000TWD (about 95 USD on Jan 4, 2015) for GozCafe. GozCafe provides food & drink for 20-persons-area reservation for 3 hrs and includes a projector and a microphone.

We have just known that standees (roll up poster) are marketing materials and should be filed to another ticket, so we won't include it here.

The receipt for GozCafe will be posted later.

Update: the separate ticket for general purpose fedora standee is ticket #177.

It is better to reimburse in TWD to avoid Paypal conversion loss from USD.

This was approved in the meeting on 17-Jan.

When will it be reimbursed? Who should I contact with?

Should it be marked as ready-for-reimbursement?

USD104 have just been transferred to your account for the reimbursement of USD100 with USD4 transaction fee

Regards
