The focus of this task has changed somewhat. In fedora, we now use firewalld[1][2] as the default. Firewalld comes with a GUI also ('firewall-config' if launching from the commandline).

This ticket should focus on a UX review of firewall-config, rather than the older system-config-firewall.

This is a screenshot of the basic interface that is presented to the user using firewall-config:

mizmo did some designs[3] for the zones portion of the firewalld gui tool, which would also be worth a look at when undertaking this task.
