#64 meeting agenda item/tracker for Project Atomic

Weekly report on status/blockers/todos for Project Atomic in Fedora -- starting with image generation and ostree repos and building up from there.

Minutes from August 26 meeting, here: [http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/atomic/2014-08-26/atomic.2014-08-26-20.09.html http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/atomic/2014-08-26/atomic.2014-08-26-20.09.html].

The tl;dr version: We are close to having a TC of Fedora Atomic from infrastructure. Once we have one, we'll set up a test day to go over the images and see if we find any defects in the builds, etc.

We also need to be researching test cases for the images.

No meeting this week, missing too many key folks.

Held meeting this week, Colin back and a bit more progress has been made. We are now producing Atomic images regularly in test composes! Help is needed patching the compose scripts, and oddshocks has stepped up to take that on.

walters also noted that the latest ostree should now support metalinks and has a new "summary" file. Scripts will need to be patched to make use of the new features.

nirik says next steps are probably to tech MM to identify ostree directories/trees.

dustymabe had a slightly unrelated question (to this topic) about storage, which probably merits a discussion with CentOS on how they're doing storage.

tl;dr - things are moving and look reasonably good.
