We would like to have the buildroots automatically update from updates-candidate. However, when doing this, we want to know when pushing what packages, if any, that haven't been released yet were used when building the to-be-pushed packages.

A potential implementation would be to have a status icon for any update that shows whether or not it's been built against unreleased packages. However, that would require updating asynchronously as other packages are pushed.

Ok, so I'm trying to figure out how to determine which buildroot a specified nvr is in...

In [12]: build = koji.getBuild('evolution-2.10.3-2.fc7')
In [13]: koji.listBuildroots(taskID=build['task_id'])
Out[13]: []

Any ideas ?

00:25 mbonnet> lmacken: you actually need to find the buildArch tasks that are children of the task_id in the build struct

We don't really want to do this anymore. We have buildroot overrides, so we don't want to populate from updates.
