A FreeIPA install generates a great deal of log messages like this every minute:
NSMMReplicationPlugin - repl_set_mtn_referrals: could not set referrals for replica dc=example,dc=com: 20
There doesn't appear to be an immediate negative effect by this, but it does completely fill up the error log.
I think this happens when replicas are deleted and added - in this case, the RUV will contain more than one entry for the same server - when the code goes to add those URLs as referrals, it will complain that there are duplicate URLs in the list. The solution is to run the CLEANRUV task to remove the deleted replicas: http://port389.org/wiki/Howto:CLEANRUV
